South West based property developer, Burrington Estates, has achieved detailed planning permission for 85 new dwellings at Trispen Hill, Trispen, Truro. This was achieved via delegated approval and inside the 13-week deadline set.
The scheme for 85 new homes will now go into the technical design process, with a start on site expected later this summer. The project includes individually designed 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes designed to suit the character of the local area, complimented by hard and soft landscaping incorporating sustainable urban drainage systems. It will also deliver significant benefits for the local community with a new area of public open space (POS), education & off site POS contributions along with the provision of 26 affordable new homes for local people.
Colin Palmer, Managing Director of Burrington Estates, said: “As a local developer we are passionate about delivering high quality homes whilst making positive contributions to the communities we operate in. Working with both Cornwall County Council and St Erme Parish Council, we are looking forward to delivering a collection of distinctive new homes to meet the local housing demand in Truro.
“Achieving detailed planning permission within the short timescales set is a fantastic achievement for Burrington Estates and one of the first RoundShield Partners LLP funded acquisitions, since the agreement of a £30million funding package achieved in February this year” adds Colin.
Bristol based leading design and advisory consultants, Focus On Design, and Exeter based consultant highway engineers, Vectos, played vital roles in achieving this result. Construction work will start on site during late summer with the first release of sales due to commence later this year, to register your interest or for more information please visit www.burringtonestates.com
