Where your enquiry concerns one of our residential developments, we may share your personal information with the company or companies in the Burrington Estates Group that is best placed to answer your enquiry or provide the information you have requested. These are:

  • Burrington Estates (Midlands) Limited, for residential enquiries and sales within our Central Region (registered in England, company number 12382562).

Where your enquiry concerns commercial services from one of our affiliated companies, we may share your personal information with the company or companies that are best placed to answer your enquiry or provide the information you have requested. These companies are:

  • Burrington Estates (Commercial Developments) Limited, for enquiries and sales of Burrington Business Parks light industrial developments (registered in England, company number 12919636).
  • Burrington Estates Commercial Holdings Limited, for information about commercial investment assets (registered in England, company number 11033064).
  • Burrington Estates (Winslade Park) Limited, for the Winslade Park development (registered in England, company number 10018492).
  • Vida Workspaces Limited, for office and co-working spaces (registered in England, company number 08874960).

We use third-parties to provide the below services and business functions; however, all processors acting on our behalf only process your data in accordance with instructions from us and comply fully with this privacy policy, the data protection laws and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Third parties

We also appoint suppliers, sub-contractors or agents to assist us, and we may share your information with them in order to provide you with other services that you request. Examples of such services include following up on enquiries made by you, providing further information on our products and arranging appointments, or in connection with reservation/purchases on our properties and/or developments. Accordingly, we may pass on your personal information to group companies or to any of our approved suppliers, sub-contractors or agents for these purposes.

Examples of the kind of third parties we work with are:

  • Direct marketing companies who help us manage our electronic and printed communications with you.

  • National House-Building Council (NHBC), our principal residential warranty and insurance provider

Transfers Outside the EU

We utilise some products or services (or parts of them) that may be hosted/stored in non-EU countries, which means that we may transfer any information which is submitted by you through the website outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) for the below purposes:

  • Our email marketing tools – Spotler and Mailchimp.com
  • Our Customer Relationship Management software – Insightly.com

Therefore, the personal information you submit may be stored on servers which are hosted in non-EU countries. Consequences of Not Providing Your Data

You are not obligated to provide your personal information to us, however, as this information is required for us to provide you with our services/deliver your products/legitimate interests, we will not be able to offer some/all our services without it.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We only ever retain personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.

Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.
