On Tuesday 14 June, Burrington Estates received the fantastic news that we have been granted planning consent for the construction of 34 luxurious, three, four and five-bedroom homes, plus four affordable, two and three-bedroom homes, as part of our new flagship development at Winslade Park, in Exeter, Devon.
This development will see the Burrington Estates vision for Winslade Park truly come to life as a place to live, work and play in perfect harmony. The Winslade Residences will follow the success of our previous developments in and around Exeter, including at EXIII in Topsham, Home Farm in Pinhoe, Seaward Park in Clyst St Mary, The Grove in Rockbeare and Dean Clarke House in Southernhay.
Following a report by The Times that the pandemic has “prompted people to rethink how and where they [want] to live” meaning that “demand for new-build homes is getting stronger” this planning approval is fantastic news for Burrington Estates. The Winslade Residences will also see a continuation of our efforts to build more sustainable homes, with all homes heated by air source heat pumps and fitted with solar PV as standard, plus the inclusion of bee bricks, bat boxes, and bird boxes throughout the development.
We would like to thank all of those involved in the planning application process, including;
