Wednesday 8th September saw a Covid secure supplier conference onsite at Winslade Park, Burrington Estates' largest acquisition, where the sensitive redevelopment of the historical estate is currently underway. Founder, Mark Edworthy welcomed those invited and explained that working with the Burrington Estates Group meant that our subcontractors are part of the wider Burrington team, working together to provide exemplary customer service across all divisions of operations and the communities it builds.

Grayham Tucker, Operations Director, expressed to those attending that: ‘Your service enables us to provide a 5-star business to our customers, so thank you for joining us on this journey. Ensuring that we work with the best people within the industry which is you.’

Steve Fowler, Commercial Director, explained why he decided to leave the comforts of a renowned PLC business for the Entrepreneurial proposition that makes Burrington Estates stand out from its competitors. ‘The difference between a PLC and Burrington Estates is that we are very nimble and flexible in our approach to business. We have the opportunity to progress a wider variety of small and large bespoke land opportunities, as opposed to concentrating on chasing numbers from large site allocations, we are customer centric and always put our customers at the forefront of our decision making.’

Finally, the newly appointed Commercial Managing Director, Matt Bennett, alongside former Exeter Chiefs Rugby star Kai Horstmann, Group Relationships Director, gave a brief explanation about how Winslade Park will benefit everyone within the South West and afar. ‘The Winslade Park product is about flexibility and wellness. One thing that has come out of the ongoing pandemic is that employers want to give their employees opportunity for wellness, in every capacity. Lifestyle is becoming more important and it is encapsulated here. There is nothing like this within the South West; living and working opportunities, moments from the city centre, superb transport links yet set in 86 acres of beautiful surroundings.'

Some who attended expressed their appreciation of the event via LinkedIn, stating, ‘It has been inspiring to hear from such a progressive company who put quality at the heart, sharing the same ethos as us.’
