Pinhoe, Exeter

Burrington Estates New Homes has acquired land in Pinhoe with outline planning for 120 dwellings, a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom homes. The 19 acre site has panoramic views over the city, the Exe Estuary and picturesque East Devon countryside.

The land off Church Hill is made up of two parcels and will include a large, managed open space with pond areas, providing the ideal location for community events and interaction, on site ecological and surface water improvements as well as an area to develop new habitats.

Redevelopment of the land will include the careful consideration of the listed farmhouse, Home Farm.

Burrington Estates are engaged in pre-application discussions with Exeter City Council and would value local stakeholder comments on the proposed phase 1 development of 30, 2 and 3 bedroom houses with parking, garden and an open space at land to the west of Church Hill, Pinhoe. The wider site has the benefit of outline planning permission, granted in June 2017, for 120 dwellings with the balance of 90 units coming forward imminently through reserved matters in the late Summer of 2018.
