Stamp Duty

Following the Government announcement on the 1st of July 2021, If you purchase a residential property between the 1st of July to 30th of September 2021, you only start to pay stamp duty on the amount that you pay for the property above £250,000. Meaning if you are purchasing a home up to the value of £250,000 in England you won't need to pay stamp duty.

What is Stamp Duty?

Stamp Duty is the tax charged by the Government when you buy a home. Following the Government announcement in England no Stamp Duty is payable on properties up to £250,000.
