This December, the Burrington Estates New Homes team have sent some much-needed Christmas cheer to the Bramble Ward, which cares for children between the ages 0 -16 years at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. Giving the children toys, games, books and more, in time to open on Christmas Day.

Gemma and Nicola from the Marketing department met with Cara Bennett, Play Specialist at the RD&E and hand delivered the presents to Sister, Louise Mould and Staff Nurse, Lisa Hancock.

Cara Bennett says: “Thank you so much to Burrington Estates for their donation of toys and gifts for the children and young people on Bramble ward. Gifts like these can really make a difference to those who are staying with us over the Christmas period.”

Burrington Estates New Homes have supported various charities each month throughout the year. These events have included a coffee morning, raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support, a 55 mile and a 100-mile charity bike ride for FORCE Cancer Charity, the Topsham to Turf Ferryman’s Swim for local charity; Estuary League of Friends, an inflatable fun day at Trispen in Cornwall, a half marathon, raffle and relay row for Children In Need, the Club Peloton Cycle; raising money for Coram –  a charity that has been supporting vulnerable children for 75 years.
